Personal profile
I have worked in a team as a member and a leader on a diverse range of projects developing wide ranging skills. I am always willing to learn new skills and expand my interests in new areas as has been demonstrated by several group projects at university and helping to produce several shows for the University of Teesside Drama Society. I am always willing to offer assistance to others in any way I can.
SkillsI have a good applied knowledge of animation principals, animation production and preproduction. At university I have developed skills in hand drawn animation, 2D and 3D computer animation and 3D computer modelling. Through this I have built up experience with a variety of 2D and 3D computer graphics packages including: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Softimage XSI, e-on software Vue, Corel Painter and Toon Boom Studio. Prior to university I experimented with Plasticine stop motion animation and trialled Anim8or a free 3D animation package which is still under development.
I am competent in many aspects of computing including many office programs but my main area of computer skill is in graphics and animation specifically modelling and texturing. My skills also include the timing of animation to a sound track, compositing multiple forms of animation together, 3D character rigging and animation and a range of 2D draws animation styles.
